Little Women: The Musical was the second show put on by out school's Student Musical Theater Group, and the second one I did the lighting design for. One of the most fun challenges I had with designing this show was segmenting the lights so that we could have parts of the stage lit while the rest were darkened for the set changes. However, certain scenes called for the entire stage to be uniformly lit, which meant that I had to be very clever when choosing lights to two-fer or link on our limited board. It was like a giant jigsaw puzzle of reality world, fantasy world, winter lights, summer lights, semi-blackouts, and full-stage washes.
